MSH UXO Ltd Environmental and Humanitarian Policy

Environmental Policy - MSH UXO Ltd is committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment. It encourages its Directors, employees, sub-contractors & clients to do the same.

Whilst the nature of the work in which it is engaged is often detrimental to the environment. MSH UXO Ltd has vowed to limit the effects wherever possible and has set itself a target of offsetting 50% of its carbon output in Year 1 (Y1) and by a further 10% each year. This will result in a carbon neutral company by Y6. MSH UXO Ltd can foresee no reason why this cannot continue until they have a negative carbon output of -50% by Y15.

The key points of this strategy are: -

  1. Exceed ALL environmental legislation related to the industry.
  2. Where possible operate in the renewables market. When this is not possible promise to push and encourage clients towards a environmentally sound outcome.
  3. Minimise waste and or output through detailed operational evaluation and planning and ensuring efficiency.
  4. Actively promote innovation to reduce emissions.
  5. Wherever possible use an electric or hybrid fleet.
  6. Encourage clients and sub-contractors to maintain our high standards.
  7. Use independent auditors to monitor our carbon footprint.
  8. Conduct tree planting and other regeneration projects to counter act the findings of auditors

Humanitarian Policy

The Humanitarian UXO industry is a notoriously closed door domain. The UN and charity companies such as HALO trust control and monitor this industry. To that end MSH UXO Ltd have no intention of running or manning projects within this market, instead if MSH UXO Ltd can provide manpower, equipment or support to such projects it will do so in a zero-profit fashion to the over riding authority. As MSH UXO Ltd develop within the market they would seek to extend this support.
